Texas House approves expansion of state’s medical cannabis program

House Bill 46 would nearly double the number of conditions eligible for the state’s Compassionate Use Program, expand the number of licensed medical cannabis dispensaries in Texas and allow doctors to prescribe more types of products. The bill was sent to the Texas Senate for consideration.
