Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick urges TCEQ to halt permits for cement plants

Citing concerns about a planned cement plant in Grayson County, north of Dallas, Patrick said no more permits should be issued for permanent cement plants until the Texas Legislature can evaluate the process in 2025.
