Children aged 18 and younger and students with disabilities up to 21 years old are eligible for the program. Families do not have to apply, register or provide identification to receive food.

With a unanimous vote on Dec. 11, Harris County commissioners reauthorized 100% property tax exemptions for qualified child care providers
