What to know about SNAP delays, other effects of monthlong federal shutdown

Texas food banks are expanding their operations to meet increased demand as thousands of federal workers go without pay and SNAP benefits are expected to be delayed due to the federal government shutdown, according to Feeding Texas, the statewide network of food banks.
