Texas Supreme Court declines to expel Houston Rep. Gene Wu over summer quorum break

The state’s highest court denied two petitions seeking to remove House Democrats from office after they left the state last summer to protest congressional redistricting. The court left the door open on its potential involvement in future quorum breaks.
