Texas Senate committee moves to ban online lottery ticket sales

Senate Bill 28 would make it a crime to purchase or sell Texas lottery tickets online or through a mobile app. The Texas Lottery Commission also announced it would crack down on lottery couriers, which purchase tickets on behalf of customers, Feb. 24.
