Texas lawmakers file plans to overhaul state water funding

Studies show Texas is running out of time to shore up the state’s diminishing water supplies. State lawmakers filed bills in March that would send up to $1 billion annually to the Texas Water Fund, invest in aging water infrastructure and more.
