More Texans are voting early than in recent primaries, election data shows

Election analysts attributed Texas’ rising primary voter turnout in part to a slate of competitive, high-profile races on each party’s primary ballot. State data shows that participation in the state’s Democratic primary was outpacing Republican turnout through Feb. 24.
