As part of its Back to School Bash, HAAM is collecting donations of school supplies, clothing and food, which can be dropped off Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:30 a.m.-noon through July 31.

Lopez will serve the judicial seat for Harris County’s Civil Court at Law, No. 1, after the Dec. 11 appointment
