Gov. Abbott sues to remove head of quorum-breaking Texas House Democrats from office

Gov. Greg Abbott asked the state Supreme Court to remove Texas House Democratic Caucus Chair Rep. Gene Wu, D-Houston, from office, arguing that he had abandoned his constituents by leaving the state in protest of a proposed congressional map.
